My 13 Very Favorite Ice Cream Crafts for Kids

How are we going to keep the kids busy in a fun, entertaining way without breaking the bank?  While you can certainly argue that being bored is not the end of the world, I like to have some simple yet fun, exciting yet educational summer crafts for kids on hand during the summer months. Ice Cream Crafts are always a hit with kids from pre-school through elementary school age and let’s not forget the teens.  Especially if you end your ice cream craft activity with a tasty make your own sundae or ice cream cone treat.  You can even make your own ice cream or take a trip to the local ice cream store or factory.  Just don’t argue over which flavor is the best!

 Here are my 13 of my very favorite ice cream craft activities for kids. 

  1. Ice Cream CraftMichelle over at Crafty Morning made terrific puffy paint ice cream cones with Mint  chocolate chip ice cream.  Tons of fun with shaving cream and glue!
  2. Cupcake liner ice cream craft. Great and simple idea.  Why didn’t I think of it?  From Rachel of I {heart} crafty things.
  3. Really cute from Whimsy-love! Ice cream cone pinatas.  Your kids will love this.
  4. And another DIY pinata ice cream craft. This one is from Six Sisters stuff.
  5. Art projects for kids makes Paper Mache Cones.
